Martha Majsak (Reading, Writing, homework help in all subject areas, Test Prep.)
Martha Majsak is the founder of Mind Matters Learning Center. She has worked as a private tutor for families throughout Westchester County for over twenty years. She continues to work with clients in Westchester via Zoom, and is proud to have recently opened a new location in Rochester, NY.
She has worked with clients from 5th grade through graduate school covering most all areas of study. She is versed in all Regents subject areas, all AP subject areas, and all standardized tests including SAT, ACT, and GRE. She assists with all stages of the college admissions process, from college choice to entrance essays. She also helps students to improve their writing skills, providing assistance with grammar, essay structure, and research.
In addition to her tutoring work, she has been a professor of both Composition and Literature and Speech and Communication courses at Iona College, Literature courses at Mercy College, ESL courses at NYU and all levels of English at Westchester Community College. She has also acted as a Reader for the AP English Language and Composition exam for the last 15 years. She is passionate about helping students find their own passion for learning.
