Playwriting is a unique writing form with its own set of challenges and rewards, but more than that, it is a way of making your ideas literally come to life! Over the course of four Saturdays participants will have an opportunity to learn how to create an original short play, and take their idea all the way from concept to completion.

       Creating a general plot and structure
2. Creating character with dialogue
        Hide the exposition
        Learning how characters sound
3. Creating conflict and dynamic scenes
        “Why now?”
        Maintaining onstage action
4. Developing plot
         How much is too much
         Working toward resolution
